Renesas Completes Acquisition of Nokia's Modem Business

Nokia today announced that Renesas has finalized its acquisition of Nokia's wireless modem business unit. Renesas now controls Nokia's LTE, HSPA and GSM technologies and assumes ownership of about 1,100 employees. The deal was first announced in July.
