Dell Officially Selling Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 Handset

Dell has officially started offering the Dell Venue Pro, its first Windows Phone 7 handset, on its Web site. The portrait slider is available immediately at Microsoft retail stores, or buyers can purchase the phone on Dell's site and expect shipment by December 9. The 8GB version will cost $100 with a new T-Mobile contract, with pricing for the 8GB and 16GB models ranging to $500 contract-free for the higher-capacity model. The phone works on T-Mobile's 3G network, but T-Mobile has not begun offering the smartphone on its own retail page.
