Apple Bulks Up Suit Against Motorola
Dec 3, 2010, 1:33 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Apple has added 12 more patents to its lawsuit against Motorola. Motorola sued Apple earlier this year for allegedly violating 18 of its patents. Apple responded with a patent suit of its own, naming 12 patents being infringed upon by Motorola. This week, Apple increased the total number of patents it says Motorola is violating to 24. Twenty-one of the patents pertain to Motorola's Android handsets, and three pertain to its set-top boxes. Apple is embroiled in legal entanglements with a number of phone makers.
