According to documents seen on the Federal Communications Commission web site, a new device has been approved from Samsung that includes support for CDMA 850/1900, LTE 700, and Wi-Fi. The FCC calls the Samsung LC11 a "Cellular/PCS CDMA and 700 MHz LTE Portable Wireless Router with WLAN." The terminology and spectrum support suggests that the LC11 device will be similar in form and function to Novatel's MiFi device. The LC11 is likely the first wireless modem that can access LTE and CDMA EVDO networks and allow other devices to access the internet via Wi-Fi. Neither Samsung nor Verizon Wireless has announced any such product.
