Motorola, RealNetworks Team Up For Consumer Linux Phones

Motorola and RealNetworks announced today that Motorola will incorporate the RealOne® Player in select Motorola handsets to be available in the first half of 2004. The initial focus will be on Linux-based handsets for the mass market consumer audience. The mobile version of the RealOne Player supports standards such as the 3GPP and 3GPP2 media formats, RealAudio® and RealVideo®.
