European Regulators Approve Nokia Siemens' Motorola Buy

The European Commission today approved Nokia Siemens Networks' plans to acquire a portion of Motorola's wireless networking equipment business. The acquisition, announced earlier this year, is valued at $1.2 billion and will help NSN become more competitive against rivals such as Ericsson and Alcatel-Lucent.
