Microsoft today provided an update to its Bing mobile search application for the Android and iOS platforms. The new version includes a handful of new features for both platforms. Bing for iPhone gains a streamlined homepage, improved restaurant search, and the ability to book restaurant tables and take a virtual tour of the restaurant. Bing for iPhone also adds more social features, including the ability to check in, share on Facebook and take advantage of location-based reminders. It also adds voice search. Bing for Android adds the same restaurant searching and booking features, as well as better bookmark searching, and the ability to pull in third-party content for better search results. Bing for iPhone and Android is free.
