HTC Publishes Custom YouTube App for Windows Phone 7
Dec 16, 2010, 12:08 PM by Eric M. Zeman
HTC has posted its own version of a YouTube application for the Windows Phone 7 platform in the Marketplace for Mobile. The free application uses Windows Phone 7's design language and functions as any other native WP7 application. It supports HD video playback, searching, and users can make adjustments to select settings. It offers basic playback, and doesn't allow for advanced features such as sharing, commenting, and favorites. The application is only available to HTC's WP7 handsets, the HD7 and Surround. Microsoft also makes a YouTube application for WP7, but it is only a link to the mobile web version of YouTube.
