Nokia Unleashes Feature-Packed EDGE Phones

Nokia today announced five new mobile phones, including four tri-band GSM models, all with EDGE high-speed data:
- 7700: Multimedia-centric device running Nokia's all-new Series 90 platform and interface. Features include 640 x 320 pixel 65,000-color touchscreen with stylus and handwriting recognition, VGA camera, stereo FM radio, MP3 player, streaming video, Bluetooth, Opera browser with Flash, and 20-25 MB of memory plus memory card (64 MB card included). Available Q2 2004.
- 6230: Compact phone with TFT display, VGA camera, video recording and streaming playback, stereo FM radio, MP3 player, Bluetooth, voice dialing, speakerphone, and 8MB built-in memory plus memory card (32 MB card included). Available Q1 2004.
- 6820: New, smaller model in 6800 series with flip-out QWERTY keyboards. Features include Blackberry email, CIF camera with video recording, Bluetooth, speakerphone, voice dialing, and 3.5 MB memory. Available Q1 2004.
- 6810: Update to the existing 6800 model, adding EDGE and Bluetooth. Features include flip-out QWERTY keyboard, stereo FM radio, 3.5 MB memory, speakerphone, and voice dialing. Available Q2 2004.
