AT&T has ramped up production on Qualcomm's long-awaited BREW MP platform, beginning with the HTC Freestyle. The Freestyle will use a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, and a 3.2-megapixel camera. The phone will use a variation of HTC's Sense interface concept, with HTC's FriendStream social networking interface, similar to the app found on HTC's Android smartphones. The phone will also feature an FM radio and GPS. In addition, AT&T plans to launch five more quick-messaging phones on the BREW MP platform. AT&T also says that Rogers Communications in Canada, which uses similar network bands for its 3G network, has also committed to BREW MP.
