Slacker Launches for Nokia's Symbian Devices

Slacker Radio today announced support for Nokia's Symbian^3 devices for the first time. Users of Symbian^3 handsets, such as the N8, will be able to download Slacker from the Ovi Store. Slacker is a free internet radio service that offers streaming music and caching to smartphone. The Symbian version of Slacker supports most of the basic features available to other platforms. The application was developed using Qt and is available from the Ovi Store starting in February. It will work in the U.S. and Canada.
