Sprint today announced that the Motorola i886 iDEN-based push-to-talk handset is now available online and in retail stores for $80 after rebates. The i886 is the first rugged PTT device from Sprint that has a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, and it meets mil-spec 810G for protection from dust, moisture, shock and temperature extremes. In addition to the standard PTT feature set, the i886 also has a 2 megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Exchange and POP3/IMAP4 email support, and compatibility with microSD cards up to 32GB.
