Google Shopper Hits iPhone
Feb 1, 2011, 9:04 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Google today announced that it has made a version of Google Shopper available to Apple's iPhone. Shopper, which has been available to the Android platform since November, is a shopping tool that allows users to look up product information, read reviews, compare pricing, and save and share products for later shopping trips. Queries can be typed or spoken, and the app returns results both for web stores and local stores. It also includes inventory information so shoppers know how many items are in stock. The application is free to download from the iPhone App Store. It works on the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, and requires iOS 4.0 and up.
