Gmail Priority Inbox Hits HTML5-Capable Browsers
Feb 7, 2011, 2:29 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Google today announced that the Gmail Priority Inbox feature is now available to most handsets that have an HTML5-capable browser. Priority inbox, which must be set up from the desktop, helps Gmail users see and act on emails from select subsets of senders while filtering less important emails further down in the inbox. Gmail Priority Inbox is already available to the Android platform's native Gmail app, but now is also supported in the browser of all Android 1.5+ and iOS 3.0+ devices.
