AT&T and Qualcomm Seek FCC Approval for Spectrum Sale

AT&T and Qualcomm have filed an official request with the Federal Communications Commission in hopes that the agency will approve AT&T's planned purchase of Qualcomm's 700MHz spectrum in some markets. Qualcomm owns two 700MHz spectrum blocks that combined cover 300 million Americans. AT&T wants the spectrum to supplement its existing 700MHz spectrum for its forthcoming LTE network.

AT&T and Verizon owning the majority of 700 MHz spectrum in the States? Not good.
A little late. Verizon already has enough spectrum to blanket the continent. AT&T will argue foul if they are denied.

Are they asking buying permission for the one they bought back in December? Or are they looking for more to accommodate their already purchased spectrum?
they want to buy 2 700mhz spectrum blocks from qualcomm, and they are seeking the FCC's approval to do so. I know this, because I read the article.
