Motorola has updated several of its desktop-based software services for managing media content on Android devices. Motorola Media Link 1.5 lets Android users sync content directly from iTunes and Windows Media Player, including music, photos, and videos, to their handsets. Motorola also announced ZumoCast for its Android portfolio. ZumoCast is technology that Motorola acquired with the purchase of Zecter Technology last year. It provides a cloud-syncing service that lets users to access their home-based music collection from their handset while on the go. Both of these services are available separately now, though Motorola plans to merge them by the third quarter of this year.
