SanDisk Ups the iNAND Ante
Feb 14, 2011, 4:41 AM by Eric M. Zeman
SanDisk today debuted a handful of new iNAND embedded flash memory modules for mobile devices. SanDisk's goal with these new chips was to reduce their size, while upping their capacity. SanDisk has shrunk the modules to as small as 11.5mm x 13mm x 1mm by using 24nm processing. The modules range in capacity between 8GB and 64GB and will be available to mobile device makers in the third quarter of the year.
