Acer's Iconia Smart Packs 4.8-Inch Display

Acer today announced the Iconia Smart, a new Android 2.3 Gingerbread Android device that has a 4.8-inch display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The device has a 1GHz Qualcomm processor, GPS, 802.11b.g.n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. It offers an 8 megapixel camera that can capture video at 720p HD. It also has a user-facing 2 megapixel camera. Acer said the device will be available in select markets later this year.
