Nokia has made a version of the Foursquare social location sharing application available to Nokia's Series 40 platform. To start, it is available as a beta, and offers a limited feature set. Actions Series 40 users will have access to include: check-ins, shout, places search, add place, recent check-ins, managing friends requests, and more. Nokia says that the application, which is Java-based, has been optimized on the Nokia 5310, 6600 Fold, 7230, C3-00, C3-01 and the X3-02, but it will work on other Series 40 phones, too. Nokia will add more features to the application over time.
