Documents seen on the Federal Communications Commission's web site provide details about an unannounced handset from Huawei. The Huawei U8500 is a slab-style touch phone that has support for Bluetooth, quad-band GSM/EDGE and 1700MHz AWS WCDMA spectrum, which earmarks it for T-Mobile's network. Other details confirmed by the FCC include the presence of a camera, 3.5mm headset jack, and microUSB port. According to the draft user manual, the U8500 runs Android 2.2, supports microSD cards, and includes GPS, Wi-Fi, and FM radios. The FCC doesn't confirm these last details.
