Motorola Mobility today announced that its venture capital arm has invested an undisclosed sum in a company called Catch Media. Catch Media has developed a system that offers legal access to copyrighted content across a wide range of devices and platforms, including smartphones, tablets, and set-top boxes. Motorola has made a number of investments and acquisitions in media delivery and content companies lately. This lastest investment will help Motorola offer its device customers better and/or easier access to the media they want, where and when they want it.
