'Shoot and Tag' Adds DVD-Like Chapters to Nokia Videos
Mar 16, 2011, 9:55 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Nokia recently released a new beta application called Shoot and Tag. This application, which works in conjunction with a handset's video recorder, will automatically add tags (or chapter markers similar to a DVD) to videos as they are shot. The software can automatically sense when a video has changed scenes and will add a tag as the video is recorded. This will let users jump to specific spots in their video quickly. Users may also add tags of their own. When playing back video, the application shows all the tags throughout the video in thumbnail form. The software works on Symbian^3 and S60 5th Edition devices.
