Facebook Acquires Snaptu

Facebook has agreed to acquire a small company called Snaptu for an undisclosed sum. Snaptu developed software that brings Facebook mobile to feature phones. According to Snaptu, its Facebook for Feature Phones application works on some 2,500 different handset models. Facebook hasn't said how Snaptu will be put to use once the acquisition closes.
