Novatel Gains DLNA Certification for MiFi Hotspot

Novatel today announced that its MiFi 2372 mobile hotspot has been certified as a Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) server. The MiFi DLNA Server lets users share content from a phone, tablet or laptop with other DLNA certified devices, such as Blu-ray players, game consoles, televisions, tablets, computers, home theater systems and more. The MiFi 2372 also has a microSD card slot, which is supported by the DLNA server for media sharing. AT&T will be the first wireless network operator to carry a DLNA certified MiFi hotspot from Novatel. Availability wasn't disclosed.
