AT&T announced a new service it is aiming at retail businesses called Digby Mobile Commerce. The product is meant to help retailers more effectively create and manage mobile versions of their web sites, as well as enable purchases made directly from handsets. Digby Mobile Commerce provides smaller businesses with the ability to take advantage of the mobile web, and, if the retailers wish, create mobile applications for smartphones that give mobile device users even better access to their store/brand. The platform is available along with AT&T's other mobile commerce applications and services.
