Apr 26, 2011, 7:13 AM by Eric M. Zeman
ARM today announced that LG Electronics has agreed to license technology related to its ARM Cortex-A15 and A9 multi-core processors as well as the ARM Mali-T604 and CoreLink graphical processing units. LG is licensing the technology so that it may better compete with its rivals, many of which develop their own system-on-a-chip processors. LG will put ARMs intellectual property to work in a range of its products, including mobile phones, tablets, and more. Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
