Apr 27, 2011, 8:29 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Research In Motion today announced that it has acquired a company called Tungle. Tungle provides cloud-based, cross-platform calendar services that are compatible with Google, Yahoo!, FaceBook, TripIt, Plancast, Outlook, iCal, LotusNotes, LotusLive, and WindowsLive. Tungle's software makes it easier for users of disparate calendar programs to more easily share their availability and schedule appointments no matter the device or platform being used. RIM plans to add Tungle's functionality to its BlackBerry services.
