Research In Motion today announced that a forthcoming version of its BlackBerry Messenger IM application will natively support Foursquare. Foursquare will be able to take advantage of BBM's features and allow users to interact and share location information through BBM. RIM didn't say exactly when the new version of BBM will be available, but said it will be supported by BlackBerry OS 7. RIM also said that BBM will include Wikitude, which allows users to interact with other BBM users and find them through an augmented reality-type visual search tool.
