Xperia Mini, Mini Pro to Launch with Gingerbread

Sony Ericsson today announced two refreshed Android handsets, the Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro. Both share a wide range of features, including what Sony Ericsson calls the new Reality Display with Bravia engines. The screens measure 3 inches and offer 480 x 800 pixels. Other shared features include Android 2.3 Gingerbread; 1GHz SnapDragon processors; 5 megapixel cameras with flash and autofocus; 720p HD video capture; Wi-Fi, GPS, and stereo Bluetooth; and DLNA, 3.5mm headset jack, microUSB, and microSD.
- Mini: Sony Ericsson claims this monoblock device is the smallest Android phone capable of capturing HD video.
- Mini Pro: The Mini Pro adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
