RIM Updates Twitter for BlackBerry Beta
May 6, 2011, 7:46 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Research In Motion recently made a new beta of Twitter for BlackBerry version 2.0 available in its Beta Zone. This beta release focuses on simplifying navigation in the application. For example, it combines a number of the different search tools into a single screen. For users with BlackBerry 6, Twitter for BlackBerry version 2.0 also supports Universal Search from within the Twitter search function, allowing users to find search items not only in Twitter, but on their device as well while using Twitter. The beta is free to download, but RIM's Beta Zone requires users to sign up in order to participate.
