Amazon Accepting Traded-In Mobile Phones
May 19, 2011, 7:10 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Amazon.com has expanded its trade-in program to include mobile devices such as cell phones, smartphones, GPS units, tablets, cameras, and MP3 players. Customers wishing to trade in their used electronics need to fill out a form on Amazon.com, indicate the condition of the device, and then print out a pre-paid shipping label and send it to Amazon. Amazon will then inspect the items and deposit money (in the form of a gift card) into the user's account. Amazon will send back items it isn't interested in within two weeks. Trade-in values range wildly depending on the item and its condition.
