Verizon's LTE Goes Live in 9 Markets Today

Verizon Wireless announced that its Long Term Evolution 4G network is now live in nine new markets, including Mobile and Montgomery Ala.; Greater Fairfield and New Haven, Conn.; Gainesville, Pensacola and Tallahassee, Fla.; Fayetteville-Lumberton, N.C.; and Bryan-College Station and Temple-Killeen, Texas. Customers in these markets will have access to Verizon's fastest mobile broadband services starting today. Verizon also expanded the LTE footprint in several existing markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, New Orleans and Philadelphia. Verizon noted that its LTE network is now available in 55 metropolitan areas across the country.
