Motorola Announces Bleeding-Edge Phone Trio

Motorola today announced three new phones for the North American market, each with a world-first combination of cutting-edge technologies:
- A845: World's first WCDMA/UMTS 1900 phone. Features include live video calling, video and still camera, MP3 player, 64 MB of memory, and Bluetooth. Available 2nd half 2004 for AT&T Wireless.
- A840: World phone with CDMA 800/1900 and GSM 900/1800. Features include 1.2 megapixel camera, dual color displays, T-Flash card slot, MP3 player, speakerphone, and speaker-independent speech recognition. Available 2nd half 2004.
- V710: CDMA clamshell with Bluetooth and megapixel camera. Features also include dual color displays, video capture, MP3 player, 16 MB built-in memory, T-Flash memory card slot, speakerphone, and speaker-independent voice recognition. Available mid-2004.
