RIM Buys Scoreloop for Better Social Gaming

Research In Motion today announced that it has acquired a company called Scoreloop for an undisclosed sum. Scoreloop develops mobile social gaming software and has a developer platform for mobile games that will be added to RIM's developer program. RIM believes the purchase will help it to better create social networking software and services for its BlackBerry devices.
