LTE Heads to Hawaii and Other States July 21

This afternoon, Verizon Wireless announced another batch of new markets that will receive Long Term Evolution coverage starting on July 21. Starting with the Hawaiian Islands, Honolulu snags LTE. Back on the mainland, Verizon added: Carbondale and Marion, Ill.; Wichita, Kan.; Toledo, Ohio; Portland, Ore,; Charleston, S.C.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Olympia and Tacoma, Wash. Verizon noted that it will also expand the availability of LTE in the Louisville, Ky., and Las Vegas, Nev., markets on July 21.
