Jun 22, 2011, 7:21 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Accenture and Nokia have finalized the hand-off of Nokia's Symbian software development and support services. The transfer, first announced in April, has Accenture taking responsibility for Symbian development and support moving forward as Nokia transitions from Symbian to Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform. Nokia believes this is the best move for its Symbian properties and employees. Accenture will also absorb some 3,000 Nokia employees.
