LG Taps Sonim For PTT Technology

Sonim Technologies and LG Electronics yesterday announced a deal for LG to embed Sonim's PoC Client™ in its phones. Sonim's software provides Push-to-Talk capability based on the Push to talk over Cellular (PoC) phase 1 interoperable specification, currently being considered by the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) standards group. The deal will allow LG to quickly deliver PoC handsets for the GSM, CDMA, and WCDMA markets.
