Jul 7, 2011, 12:51 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Research In Motion today announced the availability of the BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.1 for BlackBerry Smartphones. The updated tool set provides access to a number of new APIs (application programming interfaces), including controllers for in-app payments, the camera, the microphone, PIN functionality, and files and directories. The new SDK will allow developers to more fully integrate their applications with the native BlackBerry operating system, and pushes the development platforms for BlackBerry OS and PlayBook OS closer together.
