Google Pushes Out Major Google+ App Update
Jul 14, 2011, 3:19 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Google today made a new version of the Android Google+ application available. This update adds a significant number of new features, including the ability to customize the main stream view to show streams from individual circles. It lets users set permissions for who can/can't join huddles, and makes it easier to dimiss huddle invites from strangers. The new version refreshes the user interface of the huddle tool, and allows multiple people to be added at a time. Google+ users can set a photo as their wallpaper, and the update fixes a number of bugs and improves performance. The update is free. Google has yet to make a stand-alone Google+ application available to other mobile platforms.
