Microsoft today provided more information about some upcoming changes to the Games Hub in Windows Phone 7 Mango. Some of the newest features being added to the Hub include Avatar Awardables, which are awards that can be worn by a user's avatar; in-game add-ons, such as new weapons or extra levels; more parental controls over gaming content; and Fast Async, a new service that will debut on Xbox Live later this year that improves multi-player and asynchronous gameplay. The source code for Mango has been released to developers and is expected to launch on new handsets this fall.
