Samsung Galaxy W Touts 1.4GHz Processor

Samsung today introduced the Galaxy W, a new Gingerbread Android smartphone that is powered by a single-core 1.4GHz processor. The Galaxy W has a 3.7-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) display and supports HSDPA 3G at 14.4Mbps. It will ship with Samsung's Social and Gaming Hubs, as well as security software from Kies Air which will allow the device to be more easily found if lost. Samsung hasn't specified which markets will get the Galaxy W. More details will be provided at the IFA event scheduled for next month.
