Microsoft Details New WP7 Camera Features

Microsoft today provided details about a large number of new features that have been added to the camera application of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango devices. Mango phones will have some basic autocorrection features, touch-to-focus and capture, savable user settings, mutable shutter sound, pre-viewable photos from the lock screen, and correct picture orientation. WP7 Mango devices will also be able to share video via email, Facebook, or SkyDrive; users can Tweet photos from the photo app; tag photos more easily; better integration with the People Hub; faster access to the camera roll; automatic uploading to SkyDrive; and the ability to pin any album to the home screen. Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is expected to debut in the coming weeks.
