Turntable.fm Gets an iPhone App
Sep 13, 2011, 8:05 AM by Eric M. Zeman
The creators of Turntable.fm have released their first mobile application for the iPhone. Turntable.fm is a Facebook-based service that allows users to act as a virtual DJ in a room full of other Turntable.fm users. Participants can vote on songs and DJs earn points over time if the songs they play are liked. The application supports some of Turntable.fm's key features such as chatting, switching rooms, voting, and playing or listening to songs. The application is free, but Turntable.fm requires a Facebook invite from a current user.
