Motorola today announced that it has invested an unspecified sum in Ooyala, a company that provides online video management, analytics, personalization, and monetization technology and services. Motorola has made a number of similar investments and purchases in multimedia delivery and management companies over the last 18 months. Motorola recently began offering one such service, ZumoCast, in the Droid Bionic. ZumoCast allows Droid Bionic users to access media files that are stored on their home PC, such as music, video, and photos, from their phone.
