Sep 19, 2011, 2:30 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Research In Motion today provided developers with version 1.5 of the Payments software developers kit. The latest version of the SDK adds a number of tools that developers might find useful, such as support for subscription-based services, auto-renewing subscriptions for apps, and in-app digital goods purchases. The new SDK lets developers tailor their subscription services to renew at 7 or 30 days, and supports BlackBerry App World accounts, PayPal, credit card, and carrier billing payment options. The Payment Service SDK v1.0 is available to developers starting today.
