Cricket Expands Retail Reach to Best Buy, Others
Sep 22, 2011, 7:13 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Cricket Wireless today announced that it is expanding its retail availability through a new partnership with Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Dollar General stores. Cricket's phones and services will become available at these new retail outlets in existing and new markets over the coming months. Cricket believes this retail expansion will help it grow as a low-rate provider in the pre-paid space. Cricket is able to tackle this expansion, in part, because of its new roaming agreement with Sprint, which gives its customers a far greater area to use Cricket services.
