Verizon Intros OnStar Combo Plan

Verizon Wireless and OnStar this week announced the America's Choice(SM) with OnStar service plan. The plan allows Verizon Wireless customers with new OnStar vehicles to combine both services on one bill, and easily forward their mobile number to the OnStar hands-free system. The service is only available for vehicles with the newest (CDMA-based) OnStar system. The service will be available next month in several markets, with nationwide availability to follow.

Will you billed from onstar as well as VZW for each call? Or is that part of the service with On Star? Thanks
Conversion
I was just wondering what it would take to convert an old analog onstar unit in a 2003 truck to the new digital unit that would make it possible for me to take avantage of this service. There would have to be a conversion kit availabe at some time, since the biggest part of the this market will be auto models years 2003 and earlier.
Man, I knew that a wireless service provider would eventually take avantage of this onstar phone service market. Im just glad that it was Verizon. 😁
