Nokia Cancels 7700

Nokia executives recently revealed that the company has dropped plans to commercially release its 7700 media device. The 7700 was the first device announced with Nokia's new Symbian-based Series 90 platform, which is optimized for multimedia. The 7700 will continue to be made available to selected partners for limited trials of new multimedia services, including Visual Radio. The Series 90 platform has not been scrapped, however; Nokia plans to commercially launch at least one new Series 90 device in 2005.

I was looking forward to the touchscreen.
The Series 90 stuff looks to be awesome when they work all the kinks out. Too bad Nokia doesn't want to make a high-end CDMA handset with BREW.
