Microsoft recently launched a dedicated Hotmail application for Google's Android platform. Some of the features offered by the Hotmail for Android application include push email, calendar and contact sync, folder and sub-folder support, send/receive images, send/receive attachments, and support for multiple Hotmail accounts. The application is free and compatible with Android devices running system 2.1 through Android 2.3.3. It doesn't yet support Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Microsoft today also announced sweeping changes for the web-based version of Hotmail, including easier newsletter blocking/unsubscribing, automated clean-up features, and better support for folders.
