Nokia 603 Boasts NFC, Symbian Belle

Nokia today announced a new Symbian smartphone called the 603. The 603 is a monoblock touch phone that runs the latest Symbian Belle operating system and includes near-field communications built into the device. The 603 has a 3.5-inch Clear Black display with 640 x 360 pixels; 5-megapixel camera with face tracking, facial recognition, and 720p HD video capture; 2GB of internal memory with support for microSD cards up to 32GB; and support for 3D gaming. Radios include penta-band GSM/EDGE/HSPA+ at 14Mbps down and 5.7Mbps up, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a stereo FM radio. It will be available in European markets later this year for about $274.
